The Recovery of Peraliya
Once a tour chef for bands like the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Def Lappard, aid worker Bruce French now finds himself leading reconstruction efforts for the new school in Peraliya. French, an avid sailor, once made a stop in Sri Lanka while sailing around the world. He spent a month cruising Sri Lanka's roadways on a motorcycle and fell in love with the country. When the tsunami struck, he had little hesitation about what to do and found himself boarding a plane to Sri Lanka on a mission to help.
